While the two most anticipated teams were playing on DY Patil stadium in Mumbai, some among us surely might have said one thing, “………………..Mumbai Indians will win.”……….and this might have fallen upon everyone’s ears too, but what we had seen was just ……..unpredictable.......but as it is true, it will remain on everyone’s tongue till the next season.

Chennai Super Kings won against Mumbai Indians, which had been the most loved team of this year, but all the speculations went futile. Mumbai’s team, owned by Mr. Mukesh Ambani, had always been considered the most potent team and expensive too among the rest 8 teams, but their luck and their honed skills never went parallel in any season. They have had every player who could turn the table and could give them a suitable win over any team but just nothing got clicked in their case. They had always secured some mid-level positions in IPL, but Real Kings are always meant to be at the top and same Chennai Super Kings had proved this year, remarkably.

Mumbai Indians and Sachin Tendulkar, both these names were the highlight of this season. A man, who is always considered an Almighty of this game, suavely proved what all he had in his mind before starting the indelible season 3, but ended up doing merely for the team as a captain. However, this IPL will be long remembered not only for Chennai’s win, but also for unbeatable and unmatchable performance of Sachin, no matter what he and his team got in the end. I don’t have any grudges for other players, who were the part of other teams, but I must say one thing is that if Sachin had not played so well then denouncement of MI would have been hard to prognosticate and maybe they would not have entered the finals too. But all his hard work went unanswered as MI had failed to show their real caliber in the real finals and MS Dhoni and his team won THE GREAT and the most CONTOVERSIAL season of IPL, 2010.
